Why we exist

WeBuyData exists to let consumers monetise their own digital data. Every time you use the internet or an app, you leave a digital footprint — search histories, conversation logs, purchase records, usage patterns. Companies already collect this data, use it to improve their products, and in many cases sell it on to third parties. It’s why we all get Instagram ads for something we spoke to a friend about just ten minutes before.

Almost none of that value flows back to the person who created it: you.

A simple, fair value exchange

We pay you for relevant digital data that you choose to share — for example, AI conversation histories or app usage data. Every contribution is stripped of personal details before anything is stored. We then package this anonymised data and license it to companies and academic researchers who use it for strategy insights, product development, and building new AI models.
