Who buys listening data
Market researchers, music labels, advertising platforms, and companies training recommendation algorithms. They use aggregated listening patterns to understand trends, plan campaigns, and improve music discovery tools.
What your data includes
Songs you've listened to, artist names, and timestamps. That's it. Your Spotify data export is a record of what you played and when.
What it does not include
No passwords. No payment information. No account credentials. We never ask for your Spotify login and we never access your account. The data export file comes directly from Spotify to you — you decide whether to share it.
How we handle it
All data is aggregated and anonymised before it reaches any buyer. Your individual listening history is never resold in identifiable form. We strip out anything that could link the data back to you personally.
